If you’re anything like me, music plays a HUGE role in my workout game. If I don’t have a good workout playlist I will end up leaving the gym in five minutes.

For today’s post I wanted to share with you some of my favorite playlists that I listen to when I workout. All of the playlists mentioned can be found on Spotify and make you super pumped up for the gym!


If you want a really intense music playlist for lifting, then this playlist is for you! I listen to this playlist when I start doing my strength training workouts.

  • Mufasa by Timmy Trumpet

This playlist is also great for strength training but also dancing (duh lol). It has a lot of shuffle-like music if dance workouts are your type of thing.

I will usually play this when I am on the treadmill because I can do a HIIT style workout!

3. Workout Beats

This workout playlist is a more chiller type of playlist for simple workouts. For instance, I usually walk on the treadmill or do light jogging when I listen to this.

4. Electro Workout

Okay I know I have a lot of electric playlists listed, BUT they get you so pumped for the gym! This one is no exception too! This playlist doesn’t have a lot of hardcore EDM music, but more of the pop-like EDM. I usually listen to this when I do my ab and leg workouts.

5. Cool Down

Obviously by the title, you can tell that this is a chill cool down playlist. I play this after my strength training and stretch out my muscles. Not only does it calm me down but it relaxes me and my muscles as I am stretching!

And those are my top 5 workout playlists on Spotify! I hope you listen to them and enjoy workout out to them! I know before I found these I HATED going to the gym, but now I actually look forward to working out!
